Hazel's Candle Tutorial

Hazel's long awaited Candle Tutorial is here and you can read all about it on her blog. For the candle on the left Hazel used one of my original hand/mouse drawn digital stamps from my Blossom line. I love Hazel's decorative candles and always though it would be so hard to make one of these, but Hazel has done a great job and makes it look so easy.

Hazel has step by step instructions with photos so if you  want to try to make one of these for yourself, please visit her blog.  Just Add Glitter

Imagine Art Tag

This is my latest Art Tag and I created it with the CS Designs May Color Challenge in mind. The theme was inspired by nature and the release of 2 new Blossom designs. Sharon one of my top designers picked this fabulous color combination and think the colors she chose are just perfect for this one. The main focal point on the tag is one of my Arty Expressions, which has been colored with Prismacolor penciles and blended with odorless turpentine. The Imagine definition is one of my digital sentiments. Like many of my other creations I used bits and pieces of recycled greeting cards. All the fibers and beads were purchased at the dollar store. This was a great find and I think they and add a lot to the finished look of the tag.

Please be sure to check out some of the other great projects done in these colors

CS Designs, Changes for May

April was a fabulous and fun month and the little Babushkas were a big hit. There are lots of new changes for May.  Returning as a designer this month will be Hazel Parr who will be joining the CS Designs Design Team as a full Design Team Member. Congratulations Hazel, we are so lucky to have you on our team and so happy  you decided to continue working with us for the next few months.

Also returning will be Chrissie Tobas and Theresa Gerber. They will continue as Guest Designers for another month. Isn't this fabulous news? Congratulations to both of you. We are all so happy you decided to give us the pleasure of a little more time working with you.

Dana Seymour who we also had as a Guest Designer last month will not be returning and I want to thank her for the wonderful projects she created with  my designs during the month. We all wish her much continued enjoyment in her art and great success with her blog.

Starting this month we are also going to start having regular weekly challenges on the CS Designs Group on Simply Scrapping and Paper Craft Planet. If you would like more info on this, check out the following previous post. I and the Design Team hope you will join us in the group, and we look forward to having you share your art with us.
